Wanjiku Kiragu

Wanjiku is dedicated to supporting organizations in the agriculture sector to enhance
their effectiveness in developing and delivering scalable, impactful, and sustainable
solutions to smallholder farmers. Her philosophy is that when an organization, program,
business, or project is set up effectively, operations and implementation become
seamless, leading to greater efficiency and the natural emergence of growth and
sustainability opportunities. This, in turn, results in better service to smallholder farmers
and increased productivity.


She is particularly passionate about mobile and data-based innovations that contribute
to decision-making across various points of the value chain.


Wanjiku has over 25+ years of experience in agricultural development, having previously
held multiple full-time positions at Arifu, a mobile learning solution, the International
Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) a research institution, and the Alliance for a Green
Revolution in Africa, and the Rockefeller Foundation, both supporting agriculture
projects. She has held advisory roles in digital companies, and board positions in a
research organization and a social enterprise. She holds an MBA in Total Quality
Management.

Olive Anne Nyakio

Olive Anne Nyakio is a results-driven project management professional with a keen
interest in managing and monitoring projects for impact. With a solid foundation in
Project Planning and Management, Olive holds Bachelor of Science in Project Planning
and Management, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree specializing in M&E. She
combines academic knowledge with practical experience to effectively plan,
implement, and evaluate projects within the agriculture sector.


Olive excels in using data and digitally enabled tools to design, plan, and manage
projects, demonstrating agility in utilizing various applications. She works with diverse
clients in the agriculture sector, leveraging her gift for communication and engagement
to build strong, collaborative relationships. Olive brings her agility and innovation to
project management, helping clients develop customized solutions that enhance
efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery. Her commitment to continuous learning
and her dedication to integrating best practices in M&E underscore her proactive
approach to delivering successful outcomes.


Olive’s previous experience includes an M&E position at KeNHA and research assistant
at the Ministry of Health.

Mumbi Kiragu

Mumbi is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds a double major in Law ​
and International Relations from the University of Edinburgh and is currently pursuing a​
Master of Laws with a specialism in Technology and Data Law at the London School of
Economics. She previously worked as an Associate at DLA Piper Africa – IKM Advocates
for over 4 years where she gained extensive experience in providing legal advisory on
compliance with the regulatory frameworks for data protection in Kenya, drafting of data
protection and privacy policies, reviewing data sharing agreements relating to the processing
of personal data and assisting entities with their registration as data controllers/data
processors with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.


Mumbi is committed to promoting the ethical and responsible use of data and ensuring​
digital solutions and innovations align with principles of fairness, transparency, and​
accountability. She also offers strategic guidance to companies in data-driven and​
technology sectors, helping them achieve their goals in compliance with legal​
requirements and industry best practices. She is experienced in assisting Tech​
companies to navigate the legal landscape in Kenya which includes ensuring​
compliance with Intellectual Property laws through the registration of trademarks,​
patents, and industrial designs, representing clients before the Registrar of Trademarks in
opposition and expungement proceedings, drafting commercial contracts and​
advising on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and blockchain.
